Pietra Santa Has New Owners

Pietra Santa winery was recently purchased by Blackburn Family Enterprises - Phyllis (mother), John (father) and their son Cortlandt (Cort). The Blackburn family fell in love with the estate, its surroundings and its location for producing world class wines. The family sees Pietra Santa as the jewel in their agriculture portfolio and looks forward to many generations of family wine making. The family currently farms approximately 500 acres of winegrapes at the Dunne Ranch located in nearby Hollister and 2000 acres of almonds in the San Joaquin Valley. According to Cort "It is our vision to build upon the dreams of the previous owners and optimize the potential of this very special estate. We want to make the best wine possible and feel that the Cienega Valley with its rich soils and maritime climate are ideal for premium wine making."
