2002 Pietra Santa Cabernet Sauvignon
Grapes from these older vines yield rich and expressive flavors further enhanced by four weeks of extended skin contact and two years of aging in French oak barrels. The result is a wine with rich black cherry, cassis, tobacco and cocoa flavors with loads of complexity and a supple, elegant finish.

2006 Pietra Santa Chardonnay
Crisp and fresh, this wine features lemongrass, pear and green apple flavors with bright acidity and subtle hints of oak. 2004 Pietra Santa Dolcetto
In the Piedmont region of Italy, a Dolcetto is often found on restaurant tables because the grape’s berry and spice flavors and natural acidity make them a natural accompaniment for meals. Our Estate Dolcetto features ripe plum and blackberry flavors with undertones of almond and licorice. The wine is full-bodied with soft tannins and a lingering finish.

2007 Pietra Santa Gewürztraminer
This limited production wine comes from our estate vineyard 15 miles to the north of the Pietra Santa Winery. The vineyard shares the same cool breezes off the coast which are critical for slow ripening and retaining crisp acidity to balance the wine’s rich texture and heady aromas. The wine was bottled young after only 7 months of aging to preserve the fresh, fruity characters. This wine is made in a refreshing, dry style and tastes of tropical fruits and citrus with a lovely bouquet of lavender and spring flowers.

2004 Pietra Santa Merlot
The Merlot is produced solely from our estate vineyards where yields are typically as low as 1.5 tons/acre. After fermentation, the wine undergoes extended skin contact prior to aging for more than 2 years in French oak barrels. This vintage has ripe plum, cherry and blackberry flavors with hints of cassis and cedar. The wine is full of fruit but has the body and structure to stand up to hearty dishes.

2007 Pietra Santa Amore Pinot Grigio
Our “Amore” Pinot Grigio is a limited release wine made from grapes planted high on the terraced hillside of our estate vineyard overlooking the Cienega Valley. To add to the true romance of this wine the 2007 vintage was bottled on Valentine's Day! It is bursting with grapefruit, peach and citrus flavors with a clean and crisp finish, this beautiful wine showcases our love for the Pinot Grigio grape.

2007 Pietra Santa Pinot Grigio - Central Coast
Our 2007 Pinot Grigio comes from a Central Coast vineyard near Pietra Santa Winery. The soil here is rich and contains more clay making it more favorable for growing grapes. The vineyard shares the same cool breezes off the coast which are critical for slow ripening and retaining crisp acidity to balance the wine’s rich texture and heady aromas. It features flavors of apples, peaches and citrus and is ideal for a summer picnic or as an aperitif.

2006 Pietra Santa Pinot Noir
The Pinot Noir comes from cool vineyards in California’s Cienega Valley. An extended growing season allows the grapes to retain acidity and balance while allowing complex characters to emerge. The wine was barrel aged for 16 months in French oak (40% new) to concentrate the flavors and add layers of vanilla and toasty oak. Our Pinot Noir features vibrant flavors of wild berry, cherry and raspberry with undertones of mocha and vanilla. This wine is rich and seductive with an elegant finish.

2007 Pietra Santa Rosato
This rose-hued wine is made from 100% Dolcetto grapes grown on our estate. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and bottled young to preserve the fresh, vibrant fruit flavors. Our Rosato features vibrant flavors of wild berries and ripe strawberries. This wine is crisp and bright with a refreshing finish. Rosato is an ideal for a summer picnic and lighter cuisine but is also delicious on its own.

2005 Pietra Santa Sangiovese
Our 2005 Estate Sangiovese tastes of cranberry and Morello cherry with undertones of anise and a supple finish. The depth and complexity of this wine has made it an annual best seller and the ultimate companion to great Italian cuisine. Typical of this varietal, our Sangiovese vines have matured and we have been rewarded by increasingly rich fruit.

2005 Pietra Santa Sassolino
The Sassolino was made exclusively from grapes grown on the Pietra Santa estate. Sassolino means “little stone” in Italian, a reference to our gravel-rich soils. This estate-produced Super Tuscan blend has robust fruit and tastes of black cherry with hints of chocolate and oak, finished with soft round tannins.

2005 Pietra Santa Zinfandel
Our Zinfandel is produced from fifty-year old vines on a neighboring vineyard as well as grapes from our own estate including a treasured block planted in 1905. After fermentation, the wine undergoes extended maceration prior to aging for more than 2 years in French and American oak barrels. This bold and earthy Zinfandel tastes of ripe cherries and plums with compliments of toasty oak. It is well balanced with a persistent finish of black pepper and sage.
